The location proved very convenient for accessing various facilities and restaurants. The room was clean and functional. A power shower was present. I appreciated the large car park adjacent to the building. Residents park without a fee.
The hotel needs some attention. The attached pub left a lot to be desired. After taking my food order one evening, they announced the kitchen was closed (at about 7.45 in the evening).

The location was convenient to nearby shops and restaurants.
The walls seemed paper-thin. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from other rooms, which disrupted my sleep. The bathroom was also poorly cleaned. I found hairs in the shower.

the reception staff were helpful and cheerful at check-in and check-out. the room presentation and cleanliness stood out. the hotel was quiet despite its proximity to the busy stratford road. i had a good night's rest as a result.
i stayed in a room that smelled strongly of stale smoke. it was unpleasant as a non-smoker. i couldn't change rooms since the hotel was full that night!
